What counts as a connector?
One piece of software, one hosted connector URL, one subscription. A connector includes one connection (one authenticated identity). Add teammates as additional connections at $19/mo each where the upstream system supports per-user credentials.
My software is niche. Does it cost more?
No. A niche connector costs the same as a famous one, and there are no build fees. The universal promise shows up in coverage, not in long-tail price gouging.
Why is there no per-call metering?
Most platforms in this space bill per tool call, so the bill grows with exactly the usage you bought the connector for. A megamcp connector is one flat price. The only per-call machinery is the fixed rate ceilings every connection carries, and those are guardrails, not billing.

What can the trial actually do?
Everything a paid connector does, with the writes budgeted. Reads run live against your real system, and you get 3 supervised writes so you can watch the approval flow run on your own data. Each one shows you the exact change in plain language and does nothing until you approve it. After the third, reads keep working and writes wait for a paid plan.
Can the AI break something in my systems?
Every write asks first: it pauses on a preview of the exact change and runs only when you approve it. Writes are also constrained to specific fields and rate limited, destructive operations demonstrate in dry-run and never execute until you graduate them, and you can turn off any tool you never want touched. Can the connector react to events in my software?
No connector can, ours included. MCP connectors act when you prompt your AI or when a scheduled task comes due; they do not fire on inbound events. That is the protocol, and we are bound by it exactly as the native connectors are.
What happens when I cancel?
Connector URLs deactivate immediately and stored credentials are destroyed on the spot. We do not call your provider to revoke an OAuth grant, so remove megamcp's access in that provider's settings as well. Activity log rows are kept; there is no export and no scheduled purge yet.
What does pausing do?
Pausing stops every connection instantly but does not change your subscription. Treat it as a kill switch, not a cheaper plan.
I already have an MCP server. Can you take it over?
Yes, and we take it over free with any plan. You stop owning the spec migrations and the auth breakage; keeping it current with the 2026-07-28 spec becomes our problem, not your engineer's weekend.
